About
Hi, I'm Maggie.
I'm a Manchester-based photographer creating colourful, candid photography for organisations, community projects, businesses and events across the UK. I am a blend of 3 parts that probably don’t want to be part of the same triangle - Scouse heritage, Wirral Upbringing and now a Manchester dweller!
Before becoming a photographer, I spent over 15 years working in programme management and communications across the NHS and NICE. It might seem like an unusual route into photography, but it's shaped the way I work today. I understand how organisations bring people together, deliver projects and communicate their impact. Whether I'm photographing a healthcare initiative, a conference, a community project, a workplace or a public space, I'm always looking for the people, moments and interactions that tell the real story.
My style is relaxed, observant and unobtrusive. I like capturing genuine interactions rather than staged moments, creating colourful, natural images that feel real and reflect the personality of the people and places I'm photographing.
I've worked with healthcare organisations, schools, charities, community organisations, cultural projects and businesses across Manchester and beyond.
Clients often tell me I'm easy to work with, organised and quick to understand what they're trying to achieve. I think that's because I bring more than photography to each project. My background has taught me how organisations work, how to build relationships and how to make people feel comfortable, whether I'm photographing senior leaders, volunteers, healthcare professionals or members of the public.
I love working with organisations that bring people together and make a positive difference, whether that's through healthcare, education, community, culture or business.
If you're looking for colourful, people-focused photography that captures not just what happened, but why it mattered, I'd love to hear from you.
